The Lowder Center for Entrepreneurship and Family business is inviting students to participate in Auburn’s first Startup Weekend on Friday, April 1 – Sunday, April 3, in Horton Hardgrave Hall. During Startup Weekend, students form teams around business ideas, work throughout the weekend to validate the idea, develop a working prototype/demo and present to a panel of judges. Students will hear from guest speakers and work with mentors to make a big impact in a single weekend.
This event is open to all students and majors, and you can still participate on a team even if you don’t have a business idea. This event is a great way to apply your unique skillset to the world of startups and add experience to your resume.
Tickets are currently $10 for students, which includes a t-shirt, Auburn goodies, breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the whole weekend.
Sign up on the Startup Weekend website and use code “STUDENTDISCOUNT” at checkout. See you then.
